Blount Mayor does battle with citizens

Its much worse than I thought in a previous post, Linda King, who leads the group Citizens for Blount County's Future, answered the County Mayors extreme arrogance with reason and facts. HERE is her letter. The county Mayor is clearly out of control. Her group and Citizens for Better Government lead by Jim Folts are organized and very effective at having their voice heard.

Blount County Mayor Jerry Cunningham apparently believes he must vilify those who disagree with him. This kind of arrogance towards citizens is inexcusable and can not be tolerated by the citizens.

If you live in Maryville/Blount County I encourage you to attend a 7:00PM meeting of these two Citizen Groups on Monday, Feb 19 at the Library in Maryville.
