Talk Radio advocacy is NOT a political contribution

Local Governments in Washington State were trying to silence political speech, plain and simple. Two talk radio hosts used a lot of their airtime to oppose a gas tax increase and a county and three cities brought suit to make them declare the value of the airtime as a political contribution. The State Supreme Court said no way....probably had something to do with one of those pesky Bill of Rights.

Oh, by the way, it looks like the chances are very good that Gov. Bredesen will propose a gas tax increase next year.
