Taxpayers drive while UT bigwigs FLY

This article says "demand is high for the plane".....what the heck do you expect!! Of course it is high....who wants to drive when they can be flown around Tennessee in a prop-jet. Would be interesting to know how many planes the taxpayers have bought for State Government? The number is quite likely to increase because " UT has only one aircraft." Oh NO, everybody get out their crying towels!! waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!! This is absolutely ridiculous.

He said UT uses the plane across the state in its operations and for university business. Demand is high for the plane, and UT has only one aircraft.

UT officials said most travel occurs within the state.

The plane being replaced has almost 13,000 flight hours. It logged 415 flight hours last fiscal year.
