Politicians simply don't make good parents

Just as Phil Bredesen and Bill Frist, in their holy "race to the top" crusade, push us all to pony up more taxpayer money to improve a public education which they both chose to reject for their own children, legions of politicians have told us what a great big favor they are doing by pushing poor parents to send their children to HEAD START.
