Hey Gov Haslam, lets End Corporate welfare for Hollywood

Follow the lead of new Iowa Governor-elect Terry Branstad and end the corporate welfare and handouts to the film industry. Lets stop telling the silly LIE that government creates jobs by giving taxpayer money to corporations...lets call it what it is, a BRIBE. 

Corporate lobbyists go after these types of credits for ONE REASON ONLY...so they can have more taxpayer money in THEIR pocket. Lets STOP Corporate welfare.

Branstad has the right idea. Film credits are a bad deal for taxpayers, even when they aren't being defrauded. Other states are moving in the same direction. The Missouri Tax Credit Review Commission, created by Governor Nixon and charged with the task of reviewing the state's tax credit programs for efficiency and effectiveness, has recommended eliminating that state's film incentives.
