In a post yesterday I bemoaned the possibility that Boehner and other supporters of the extra engine for the strike fighter would get their $456 million earmark. (Ok, maybe technically, it wasn't an earmark but it was an opportunity to save $456 million of taxpayer money.)
Every member of the Tennessee delegation voted for the amendment (which removed funding) except Scott Desjarlais and Diane Black?
What's up with that? Why would Diane Black and Scott Desjarlais pass up an opportunity to save the taxpayers half a billion when we have trillion dollar deficits?
