More pics from the Great Tennessee Tax Revolt: The Loudest Horn

During the Protests against the State Income Tax in 2002 the favored tactic was driving around the Capitol Bldg honking horns. The sound was deafening during large protests and an informal contest developed among protesters to see who had the loudest horn.

The clear winner was this creation. This is a real train whistle mounted in the back of a pickup truck driven by a gas powered air pump. When this monster went off you could actually see the windows of the capitol vibrate.
