“Essentially, our local governments ... are giving taxpayers money, our money, to lobby for more of our money,” Scott said. “We just want accountability and open government. When we have open government and people are honest, we have good government.”
The suit claims Scott asked for records from the Ohio Municipal League and Ohio Township Association on March 31, but the request was denied. He expects a decision from the Ohio Supreme Court to take several months.
